KUEN CHEUNG receives his report and learns that he is expelled from school because of bad results. Afraid that his parents will rebuke him, he decides to hide the matter. KUEN CHEUNG decides to quit school and with YIM FAN's help, work as a junior in the hairdressing salon. LUNG and others visit the salon to cheer for him. In the next day, KUEN CHEUNG faints from an electric shock and is taken to the hospital, thus WING and MEI CHUN find out the truth. Frustrated, yet worried about YIM FAN's and KUEN CHEUNG's future, WING and MEI CHUN decide to emigrate. WING and MEI CHUN asks for help from NAM SHAN who then takes a large sum of money from them. Not wanting to emigrate, YIM FAN proposes to stay behind alone to earn a living for herself. After several unsuccessful attempts in finding a job, she is forced to leave Hong Kong with her parents. The friends part each other unwillingly.
