CHOW CHI asks KA CHING to train LUNG and she purposely makes things difficult for LUNG. LUNG is not discouraged, practising harder still, and is very much intrigued in kendo. He even bets with KA CHING that he passes the third grade earlier than her. KA YUNG and KA CHING learn from WAN of their parent~' affection for each other and the country house in commemoration of it. The two thus understand LAI SHAN more and KA YUNG even helps LAI SHAN to tidy up the country house. One night, SHAN goes out. Thinking that she is at the country house, KA YUNG goes with WING HO to find her, and the two come across a mysterious woman. Mistaking her to be a ghost, WING HO is horrified and flees while KA YUNG faints. When KA YUNG gains back consciousness, the mysterious woman claims herself to be a Vietnam refugee named YUEN CHIU LING. Out of pity for her, KA YUNG agrees to keep it a secret and allows CHIU LING to hide herself at the country house……
